Contains 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide (BPO)- a very effective antibacterial cleanser for the treatment of acne and acne-prone skin. This antibacterial face cleanser assists in thoroughly cleaning the skin without stripping or excessive dryness. Oily skinned individuals will appreciate deep cleansing action that leaves the skin feeling scrupulously clean, soft and smooth.

Instructions:

For acne treatment, apply a small amount of Jan Marini's 2.5% benzoyl peroxide antibacterial face wash/cleanser (about the size of a quarter) to the face. Work into a lather. Gently remove with a wash cloth and lukewarm water. Splash face with lukewarm water. Pat dry. Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed or as directed by a physician. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application of the 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide (BPO) face wash to once a day or every other day. If going outside, apply sunscreen after using this acne cleanser with benzoyl peroxide. If irritation or sensitivity develops, stop use of both products and ask a physician.
